KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR
Spread the word…...Weymouth is now open for ONLINE Registration for kindergarten for school year 2021-2022. Below is the link giving you all the information you need to sign your child up for school year 2021-22. If you know of any neighbor or friend with a child who will be turning 5 on or before August 31, 2021, please let them know that registration is now open.

Reminders:
Chromebooks and iPads Need to be Fully Charged - Please be sure that when your child is coming into the building that their chromebooks and iPads are FULLY charged. We have a very limited supply in the building to offer to students whose devices are not charged. If you are having a problem with your device, you must submit a ticket to the IT Department and then call or email the office to do a possible swap of your device. Below is the link to submit your ticket:

Flu Vaccine Requirements
Massachusetts is mandating flu vaccines for students this year. This date has been extended. Students are required to get a vaccine prior to February 28, 2021.

Please remember to present documentation of your child’s flu shot to our school nurse.
Kindly continue to review the health guidelines before sending your child to school in person.
When Should I Keep My Child Home???
Weymouth Public Schools COVID-19 Weekly Update
While you may see information posted on social media platforms regarding COVID-19 cases or contacts of a positive COVID-19 individual and wonder what is happening, know that the schools and the district will only send out information once we have conducted a thorough investigation into a COVID related situation. First we have to reach out to all families who are directly involved due to being a close contact. Once that has been accomplished then an informational letter will be sent out by the building principal to their school community.
If you have any covid questions or concerns regarding your student or even yourself, please feel free to reach out to our nurse.
Attendance - Thank you for continuing to email your child’s teacher and call/email the office when your child will be absent from school either in person or remotely.
Kindergarten Full-Class In-Person Schedule
We are excited to begin the process of increasing in-person learning opportunities for Kindergarten. We will begin with Ms. Shepherd’s class this week on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Please note that there is no change for fully Remote Learners if you prefer to remain remote. Monday will remain remote for all students. Here is the update from the most recent School Committee meeting regarding Return to School dates.
