Registration Information

Welcome to Weymouth Public Schools!

Thank you for registering your student with Weymouth Public Schools; we welcome you and your family to our school community!

2022-23 Registration for Grades K-12 is available at the Family Engagement Center located at 89 Middle Street in the former Adams Middle School on Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  

Families should create a Family Connection Account on the WPS website.

The process of registering a child for Weymouth Public Schools requires you to complete the following 5 Steps:

  1. Create your Family Connection Account
  2. Enroll each of the students online
  3. Complete Proof of Residency
  4. Collect all required documents and signatures
  5. Final school placement will be determined based on current school enrollments.  You will receive a phone call from the accepting school's administrative assistant to make an appointment once placement is official.

Step 1:  Create your Family Connection account if you don't already have one.

If you registered a student sometime after February 1, 2017, you should already have an account.  In that case, simply skip Step 1 and move on to Step 2.  If you don't remember your login information for Family Connection, you can click "Forgot login/password" in the upper right corner of the screen and type in the email used when creating the account.  If you are still not able to log in, please reach out to your school Secretary.

Step 2:  Register/Re-enroll each of the applicable students online.

Log into Family Connection using your email address as the User ID/Email, and the Password you provided during the account-creation process.

**If you do not have a Family Connection Account, STOP and go back to Step 1 above.

  • Click Register New Student.  Always click Save and Return to Home before leaving the site.
  • When you login again, click Continue Entry.
  • After completing all required fields, click Save and Return to Home.
  • Click Submit Form on the Home Page to complete the Registration.
  • Registration is not complete until you click Submit Form.

Step 5:  Final school placement will be determined based on current school enrollments.  

Please be sure to bring with you all documents and forms required in Steps 3 and 4 to your appointment.
