Welcome to Weymouth High School!

Boasting an enrollment of over 2,100 students and a teaching staff of 180, Weymouth High School is a comprehensive high school that offers both a traditional four year high school curriculum and a full Chapter 74 Approved Vocational-Technical Program. Completed in 2004, Weymouth High School’s campus is comprised of two adjoining buildings: the Maroon House which houses humanities classes, and the Gold House which has state-of-the-art science and technology facilities. 

In March of 2016, the school received full accreditation for ten years from the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. Weymouth High School received recognition from Boston Magazine’s: The 50 Smartest High Schools edition in which it received the overall rank of 7th in Academic Performance out of over 200 public high schools in Massachusetts.

Weymouth High School has a diverse elective and core curriculum boasting nearly 500 courses offered in either a year-long, semester, or single-term format. Departmental / standards-based final exams are administered at the conclusion of all courses. Our extensive Advanced Placement program offerings include: English Literature & Composition, English Language & Composition, United States History, Government and Politics, Psychology, Spanish, French, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics 1, Chemistry, Physics C / Mechanics, Environmental Science, Studio Art & Music Theory. Core courses are offered at three instructional levels: College Preparatory, Honors, and Advanced Placement.
