Principal's Corner

Dear Hamilton Families,

It is truly an honor to lead our school community in striving to provide the best educational experience for our students and their families. The Hamilton team is dedicated to establishing and maintaining a culture where students are encouraged to believe in their abilities and stretch their limits in all aspects of learning. It is imperative that we focus on the academic, social, and emotional learning for our students to be prepared when they are promoted from Hamilton. We also recognize that part of student learning is making mistakes and we do our very best to embrace those experiences and learn from them as we work to develop citizens who will be a productive and positive part of our local and global community.

What makes a school community great is when students, parents, community partners, and staff work collaboratively to determine and aim for what is best for a sound education. I am proud of the very cohesive team we have in place that works intensely to make each day positive and productive. We have an outstanding Parent Council, School Council, and Student Council, who provide additional opportunities for our students that we would not otherwise have. Some of these include cultural arts, enrichment clubs, a running club, and Active Kids & Mind to name a few, along with many special nights to celebrate school-related events and holidays. I encourage you to participate in and become involved in these events that bring our community closer together. When each one of us does our part, we are rewarded with amazing outcomes for our students.

It is very gratifying to be part of the Hamilton School Community, to have the opportunity to work with you and having the responsibility of providing the best education for your children. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing our students grow as they recognize each new success. You have been very supportive, providing insight and feedback in an effort to improve shortcomings and enhance what is working well. I look forward to our continued work together to make Hamilton great!
