Kindergarten Registration for 2026-27
Welcome to Weymouth Public Schools! We are thrilled to welcome your Kindergarten student in September 2026.
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open as of Monday, January 26, 2026!
Students currently enrolled and attending Weymouth Early Childhood Center do not need to enroll for Kindergarten. Please contact WECC directly with any questions to update your information for September 2026.
Students must be 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2026, to attend Kindergarten in September 2026.
To be eligible for enrollment in Weymouth Public Schools, the parent or legal guardian* of a student must provide proof of legal residency** within the Town of Weymouth. Children whose primary residence is located outside of Weymouth are not eligible to attend Weymouth Public Schools.
The Registration Process
To ensure a smooth registration experience, please familiarize yourself with the following steps and requirements.
- Please review and gather ALL of the required documents before you begin the registration process
- Create or access your Family Connection account and supply information about your incoming Kindergarten student(s). (Learn more about Family Connection account instructions)
- Please complete the online Developmental Questionnaire in advance of your appointment.

Once you have completed and submitted your Family Connection Account and collected all the required documents, please schedule your registration appointment: Make a Registration Appointment.

Registration appointments are ongoing, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, by appointment only.
Please make sure you have all your documents printed and prepared for review. If you have documents on your phone please download and print them before you come to your appointment.
No student will be enrolled without completed registration documents.
* Legal guardians must provide valid documentation from a court or agency confirming their guardianship status.
** Residency refers to the primary, permanent, and legal place of residence where a student lives with their parent or legal guardian. It is the location where a student spends the majority of their time and serves as the center of the student's domestic, social, and civic life.
