Mass Notification System

Stay informed about critical news, school closures, and other updates through our Blackboard mass notification system. This system ensures you receive urgent notifications via text message, email, or phone.

Building-Based Communications

Weekly Newsletters: Each of our school offices sends a weekly newsletter on the weekends to parents and guardians with school news and important dates. If you are a parent or guardian and are not receiving your school’s weekly newsletter, please contact your school office.

Get Involved

  • Parent Councils: Join and participate with your school’s Parent Council to stay involved and connected.
     
  • School Committee Meetings: Weymouth School Committee meetings are held in the Humanities Center at Weymouth High Schools and are open to the public. See the meeting schedule »
    The meetings are also broadcast live on WETC Channel 8 and livestreamed at https://www.weymouth.tv/
    Meeting videos are archived on weymouth.tv as well as on the WPS website. Parents and community members are welcome to address School Committee during Public Comment at each meeting.
     
  • Volunteer Opportunities: We welcome parent and guardian volunteers in our schools. Please contact your school office to learn more about these opportunities. (All volunteers must complete CORI and SORI background checks.)
