What is Unified Sports?
Special Olympics Unified Sports is a fast-growing initiative that brings people with and without intellectual disabilities together on the same team to compete in various sports throughout the year. The fall season will be basketball. Additional seasons include Bocce and Track & Field.
The Unified Basketball team will follow the Special Olympics MA and the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) guidelines and rules.
This team is in the Baystate League.
