Free Meals for All Students in 2025-2026
Massachusetts has made Universal Free School Meals permanent, ensuring that all students may receive one free breakfast and one free lunch every school day–no forms required. While meals are free for everyone, families who may need help with other school-related expenses (such as transportation or athletic fees) are encouraged to complete our Financial Assistance Form to determine eligibility for additional support.

Food is a big part of everyone’s well-being, and students need a place to eat where they can connect with others, recharge, and enjoy a sense of happiness in their school. That’s why we serve food kids love to eat and create programs that encourage fun and discovery. Most importantly, we believe that happy cafeterias start with our people. So we empower them to go above and beyond to bring their personal “extra” for even more creativity and joy at mealtime. Our goal every day is to make sure that students leave the cafeteria happier and healthier than when they came in.

In Weymouth, we serve meals to over 5,600 students in 10 schools–8 elementary schools and 2 secondary schools. In partnership with Chartwells, we offer a wide variety of fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals that students enjoy. We engage students and all of their senses through the creation of new and fresh dining experiences that improve their school day. Our wide variety of menu items, programs, and initiatives nourish students’ bodies, minds, and spirits. Our dedicated staff go above and beyond each day to make mealtimes something students look forward to.
