Metal Fabrication Program

The metal fabrication program, offered through the program of studies, is a comprehensive approach to working with metals. The instructor, a master in his field, takes students through a step by step learning process of how to work with the most commonly used metals in our country. This learning process involves measurement, fabrication and assembly of products made of metals. During this educational experience the student will learn methods of assembly from mechanical to chemical, and from electrical to flammable gas. The student will also use mechanical drawing components almost everyday to design and construct on paper the actual components to be constructed later in the laboratory. The course of study will also include an introduction to the sheet metal workers scope of work, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
