Early Childhood Education

The Early Childhood and Education program at Weymouth High School instructs students in all areas of Early Childhood Education.   During the four years, students gain experience in the on site laboratory with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and seniors intern in local elementary schools, gaining experience with school age children. Many graduates of the program are pursuing a college education in Early Childhood Education, and working in the child care field.

Upon graduation, a student who has fulfilled all of the educational requirements of the program, completed the required hours of practical experience, and successfully completes a CPR and First Aid course may apply for licensure from ECC.
