Changing your Gradebook to view just one semester’s classes in X2
Two avoid confusion with classes, this may help so you can deal with one semester at a time.
- In X2, click on the Gradebook Tab at the top of your window
- Click on the word “Options” on the menubar below the tab, and from the drop-down menu choose “Query”
- In the Query window, click on the drop down arrow for “Tables” and choose from the drop-down list “Master Schedule”.
- In the next box down (Fields) choose “Schedule Term”
- In the next box down (Operator) choose “Equals”
- For the “Value” in the next box down, type in S 1 (a capital s, a space and then the number 1)
- Click the “Add” button on the right
- Now click the “Search” button at the bottom left.
- The result will be just semester 1 classes
Because it will revert back to “all” semesters and you won’t want to do this every time, I would save your query.
To save the query, when you get to step 8 above, click the “Save As” button at the bottom right instead. I would call in Semester 1 classes.
When you want to change your Gradebook list from this point forward, Go to “Query” again, but this time you will be able to click on “Select” and then “Use” and click “Search”
I would set up a query for each semesters. If you do it now, it will be all set for the rest of the year!
