Are you ready for the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017? This will be the first total solar eclipse in the continental U.S. in 38 years. Learn how to safely watch the eclipse, what to expect, and what creates this awe inspiring sight.
We’ll also explore the stars and constellations of our winter night sky. Take home a Star Map and explore the heavens from your own backyard. What can you see in a sky full of stars?

No matter what the weather is outside, the stars always shine in Weymouth’s community planetarium.
