Senior heavyweight D. Murphy finished second at the New England wrestling championships in New Haven on Saturday.  Murphy defeated the state champions from four other states before coming up just short 2-1 in triple overtime of the final match. 

 

Senior 135 pounder E. Harrison finished top 5 in New England for the second year in a row with six more wins this weekend in New Haven.  He finishes an amazing four year career with the most wins of any Weymouth wrestler ever at 176 career wins (more than 100 by pin!!). 

Senior C. Dooley saved his best for last finishing 4th in New England in the 1,000 meters.

 

Junior J. Corcoran also enjoyed a remarkable finish to her season with a 5th place finish at the New England championships.

The 2009-2010 hockey season came to an end in a hard fought loss in the Division One South finals.  The boys played hard all season and provided plenty of excitement during their tournament run.  Well done Weymouth!  Congratulations on a great season.
