Girl's Cross Country Remains Undefeated

The Lady Wildcats defeated Needham and Milton to improve to 5 and 0 on the season.

Boy's Cross Country improves to 4 and 1

The boys continued their winning ways by defeating Needham and Milton in BSC action at Wampatuck State Park.  The team will compete in the Bay State Invitational this Saturday.

The boys remained undefeated at 6-0-1 with their sixth consecutive shutout by keeper S. Greenwood and his defensemen.  Greenwood made 8 saves including a last minute stop on a breakaway.  M. Lynch scored the goal for Weymouth assisted by B. Adams.  The boys will look to keep it rolling when they travel to Braintree on Wednesday.

The ladies improved to 5 and 1 with a victory at home.  Scoring the goals for Weymouth were K. Bell, M. Darling, and N. Hunt.  The team will host Braintree on Friday at 3:45.

Weymouth Football 28 Gloucester 0

The football team improved to 3 and 0 with a victory over the two time defending Super Bowl champions on the road in Gloucester.  Junior O. Colarusso opened the game with a 90 yard kick off return and added another 50 yard TD reception.  Captain K. Bailey Smith added a TD reception while C. McLevedge added a rushing TD in addition to throwing two TDs.  The team will travel to Needham on Saturday for a 4:30 game.

Boys Soccer 2-0 over Needham

The boys improved to 5-0-1 with their fourth consecutive shutout.  Scoring the goals for Weymouth were  L. Prado and B. Adams, both assisted by T. Petrangelo.  The boys will host Brookline on Monday at 4:30.

Girl's Soccer improves to 6 and 1

The girls earned a huge BSC victory at home with a 4-1 victory over Needham.  Scoring the goals for the Wildcats were B. Hattinger, K. Donahue, S. Conneely, and M. Darling.  The team will travel to Brookline on Monday.

Boy's Soccer 2 Wellesley 0

The boys improved to 4-0-1 with a big win at Wellesley. Scoring the goals for Weymouth were T. Butler from A. Tambi and K. Cerkez from D. Conroy. Goalie S. Greenwood (6 saves) and the Wildcat defense earned the third shutout in a row.  The team will travel to Needham on Friday.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 5 and 1 with a victory at home over Wellesley.  Scoring the Weymouth goals were J. Kimball, K. Donahue, and S. Conneely.  The team will host Needham on Thursday at 4:00.

The defending State champions improved to 3 and 0 on the season with a double victory in the BSC.  The ladies will host Needham and Milton next Tuesday.

Weymouth Golf 69 Dedham 39

The golf team earned their first win of the season at home over Dedham.  The team will play at Newton North on Tuesday and then Wellesley on Thursday to complete a busy week in the BSC.

Girl's soccer 1-0 over Whitman-Hanson

The Lady Wildcats improved to 4-1 with a victory over W-H on Saturday night.  Junior goalie M. Stuart earned a shutout while freshmen M. Elmore scored the game's only goal assisted by freshmen A. Bell.  The ladies will host Wellesley Tuesday afternoon.

Senior QB C. McLevedge threw for three touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown to lead the team to victory in the home opener.  Also scoring for Weymouth were O. Colarusso, S. Whouley, K. Bailey Smith, and sophomore D. Fernandez.  Sophomore receiver D. Harrison added a two point conversion while kicker T. Smith provided five PAT's.  The team will travel to Gloucester this Friday night to take on the two time defending Super Bowl champions.

In an early season battle between two of the top teams in Massachusetts, Weymouth came away with an exciting victory on the road.  Junior goalkeeper S. Greenwood recorded his second straight shutout to help the team inprove to 3-0-1 on the season.  The boys will travel to Wellesley on Tuesday.

The ladies earned their second sweep of the season with an impressive victory over Framingham at home.  The team will travel to Dedham on Friday looking for their third win of the season.

The boys improved to 2-0-1 on the season with a shut out victory over Dedham.  Goalkeeper S. Greenwood posted his first shut out of the season and junior M. Lynch had a hat trick to lead the offense.  The boys will look to keep it rolling when they travel to Newton on Thursday.

The defending Division One State Champions got right back to their winning ways with an impressive victory in an early season BSC showdown. Leading the way for Weymouth was the powerful trio of returning all-scholastics; J. Tevenan, M. Barker, and B Jaklitsch.

The ladies kicked off the season with a 2-1 victory on the road at Natick and then posted an impressive 4-1 victory over Framingham in the home opener.  The ladies will travel to Dedham on Tuesday.

Boy's soccer defeats Natick - ties Framingham

The boy's started the season with two good results: a 2-1 home victory over Natick followed by a 2-2 draw at Framingham.  The team will host Dedham on Tuesday at 3:45.

Weymouth Football 48 Milton 6

The football team opened the regular season with a convincing victory at Milton. Senior captain and quarterback C. McLevedge threw for six touchdowns and ran for another to lead the way for Weymouth. The team will host Wellesley this Friday night at 7:00 PM.

Girl's Volleyball sweeps Hingham 3-0

The lady Wildcats swept the home opener over Hingham with a 3-0 victory.  The ladies will travel to Natick on Monday for a 3:45 match with the Red and Blue.
