Softball team to play Marshfield in South Tournament

The ladies will travel to Marshfield on Thursday at 3:30 to open the tournament.

Girl's track finishes 7th at Div. 1 Eastern Mass Meet

The Lady Wildcats had a top ten finish in a very strong field on Saturday qualifying 6 for the All-States this Saturday at Bridgewater State.  The 4x800 meter relay team (J. Corcoran, A. Brady, B. Jaklitsch and J. Tevenan) took second place. Sophomore J. Kimball finished 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles and 6th in the triple jump.  Senior J. Glover finished 4h in the long jump, senior J. Corcoran finished  fifth in the two mile.

Sollowin and Bailey-Smith win Division One Titles

Senior S. Sollowin won the boy's two mile (9:18) while junior teammate K. Bailey-Smith won the long jump (21'1.5) and the high jump (6'10) at the Division One Eastern Mass State Meet.  Also qualifying for the All-States next Saturday for the boy's team were junior T. Mulcahy (3rd 400 hurdles), senior F. Kariuki (4th 400 hurdles), who will join teammates M. Jordan and T. Tuplin in the 4x400 relay.

Baseball team finishes the season in style

The boys defeated BSC champion, and rival, Braintree on the road to finish off the regular season with a BSC record of 8 and 8.  Junior S. McKay pitched nine great innings for the Wildcats in a thrilling finale for this years senior class.

Boy's tennis continues to roll!

The boys defeated Braintree 4-1 for their fourth victory in a row.  At 8 and 7 the boys will host Natick on Wednesday at 3:45, Walpole on Thursday at 5:30, Quincy on Friday at 3:45 and Dedham on Saturday at 10 AM.  Two wins will qualify the team for the State Tournament!

Baseball defeats Milton 7-5

The boys earned their seventh win of the season over the visiting Wildcats at Stella.  The team will finish off the season when they travel to Braintree on Wednesday for a game at 3:45.

With a 15-0 win over Brookline the softball team earned a trip to the Tournament.  Freshmen A. Argiro pitched her second perfect game of the season for the Lady Wildcats.  The ladies are right back at it when they travel to Milton today before traveling to Braintree on Wednesday for a 3:45 game - with the BSC championship on the line.

Boy's tennis defeats Norwood 3-2

The team brought the seaon record to 7 and 7 with a victory over the visiting Mustangs.  The team will look for win number 8 when we host Braintree on Tuesday.

The boys finished the BSC schedule with a victory over Braintree at home.  The team will travel to Hingham for the final game of the season on Wednesday.

Softball defeats Needham 4-2

The ladies earned their ninth win of the season with a home victory over Needham.  The team will travel to Brookline on Monday looking to punch their ticket to the State tournament with win number 10.  With a BSC title still a possibility the ladies will quickly refocus as they travel to Milton on Tuesday.

The boys picked up wins five and six on the season with a sweep over Milton.  The boys look forward to an exciting, and very busy finish this week, when they play five home matches with a tournament spot in the balance.  Up first the boys will host Norwood on Monday followed by a match with Braintree on Tuesday.

The boys earned their seventh win of the season at home vs. Milton.  The team will look to keep the momentum when they host Braintree under the lights at 6:00 on Monday.

Freshmen A. Argiro pitched a perfect game picking up her second win of the season in a lopsided victory for the Lady Wildcats.  The team will travel to Walpole on Friday looking for win number 9.

Baseball makes it two in a row

For the second day in a row the baseball team earned a close BSC victory to earn their sixth win of the season.  In the top of the 10th sophomore O. Colarusso stole home plate for the go ahead run to win the game in exciting fashion.  The team sets their sights on BSC baseball power Walpole in a home game this Friday at Player Field.

Track finishes the regular season at 6 and 1

The track teams defeated Needham at home to finish a very impressive regular season.  Weymouth will host the annual Bay State Conference Track All-Star Meet on Wednesday May 18th at 4:00 PM.  All 24 boys and girls teams from the league will send their best athletes to compete for the championships in their respective events.  It is truly an amazing display of athleticism - well worth a trip out to the track to cheer on our track stars.

The ladies defeated Wellesley on the road 6-2.  The team will host Framingham on Wednesday followed by another home make-up with Brookline on Thursday.

Senior R. Flanagan delivered the only run, in a key BSC game, when he doubled in the top of the ninth driving in junior C. McLevedge for the win.  The team travels to Framingham on Wednesday one half game out of first place.
