Boy's and Girl's Track Defeat Needham

Both Track teams remained undefeated at 6 and 0 with victories over Needham.  The ladies defeated the host Rockets 90.5-40.5, while the boys won by a score of 81-55.  The victories set up a BSC championship showdown with the undefeated Newton North Tigers with the BSC titles on the line.

 

At the State Freshmen/Sophomore Meet the following Wildcats turned in some impressive performances:

4x100- H. McDonald, T. O'Brien, D. Fernandez, D. Harrison - 1st (.08s off the meet record) 45.1

400M- D. Harrison- 1st (51.44), J. Mulcahy- 8th 

100M- D. Fernandez- 5th, B. McQuiggan- 10th
200M- T. O'Brien- 2nd, H. McDonald- 8th, A. Radel- 10th
2Mile- M. Murphy- 2nd
Triple Jump- H. McDonald- 10th
4x400- J.Mulcahy, M. Clark, E. Wilson, A. Radel)- 8th

Girl's Lacrosse Defeats Milton 15-7

The Lady Wildcats earned their third win of the season under the lights at Milton.  The team will travel to Needham on Wednesday.

Boy's Lacrosse defeats Brookline 11-6

The boys earned their fifth victory of the season at home over the Warriors.  The team will host Needham on Wednesday.

Baseball defeats Braintree 5-2

In a pitching matchup featuring the Bay State Conferences best - Weymouth senior S. McKay pitched a fantastic game to lead the Wildcats to their sixth win of the season. The team will host Newton North on Wednesday.

Girl's Tennis Defeats Milton

The Girls Tennis team earned a hard-fought victory against Milton High last Friday afternoon in thrilling fashion.

Singles victories by Senior R. Smith and Junior M. Norton  left the match tied at two and dramatically set the stage for the first doubles team of A. Hutchinson and J. Rieman.  The duo responded securing a 6-3, 6-3 match-clinching upset.
 
The Wildcats are currently 3-6, but look to improve their record in the upcoming weeks as the squad has made great strides since the opening of the season.
