The boys earned their fouth consecutive victory with an impressive win over defending BSC Champion Wellesley.  R. Peterson earned the win on the mound for Weymouth.  The team will travel to Braintree on Monday.

Congratulations to K. Bailey-Smith for breaking his own school record in the high jump with a leap of 6'11 at the Division One Relays on Saturday.  This jump places him in the top ten nationally.

The boys continued their winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Dedham.  The team will host Newton North on Monday.

The softball team improved to 6 and 3 with back-to-back victories in the BSC.  Sophomore pitcher A. Argiro threw a no hitter (the third of her career) in a 20-0 victory over Brookline before earning a 7-1 victory over Wellesley on Saturday.  Weymouth will host Braintree on Monday in a big BSC matchup.

The Lady Wildcats earned their second win of the season with a win over Dedham.  The team will host Wellesley on Monday.

After defeating Norwood 114-21 the Lady Wildcats eqarned their fifth win of the season  90-46 over Brookline.  N. Amazan broke a 20 year old school record to become the state's best thrower in the shot put, going 37'10". M. Darling won the long jump, triple jump, and 100 hurdles, and J. Kimball won the 100, 400, and placed 2nd in the triple jump and high jump. Other winners were captains B. Bechtold in the 400 hurdles, B. Jaklitsch in the mile, J. Tevenan in the 2 mile, as well as M. Fitzgibbon in the 800, and the 4x400 relay of E. Stevens, K. Kelly, Bechtold and Tevenan.

 

The team will compete in the Division One Relays on Saturday before traveling to Needham on Tuesday.

 

The boys continue to roll through the Bay State Conference posting victories over Norwood (82-44) and a strong Brookline team (84-51) in the past week. The team will compete in the Division One relays this weekend before traveling to Needham on Tuesday.

The Lady Wildcats exploded offensively for their first victory of the young season in a non-league game vs. Fontbonne.  The team will look to keep the momentum rolling when they travel to Dedham on Wednesday.

The baseball team defeated Quincy in non-league action and will travel to Needham on Wednesday to take on the Rockets before hosting Brookline on Thursday.  The team will play Monday's postponed game on Saturday at Wellesley at 2:00.

The softball team improved to 3 and 3 with a non-league victory over Oliver Ames.  The team will return to league play when they host Needham on Wednesday, travel to Brookline on Thursday, and make-up the postponed game with Wellesley at home on Saturday at 2:00.

The boys defeated Natick 3-2 in a very competetive BSC match up to earn their fourth victory of the season. The team will travel to Dedham on Monday April 23rd.

Both track teams posted impressive victories over BSC rival Braintree on Tuesday.  The Lady Wildcats won 88-48 led by J. Kimball who won 4 events (javelin, triple jump, 100, and 800), M. Darling who won 3 events (long jump, 200, 100 hurdles).  B. Becthold (400 hurdles), N. Amazan (shot put), M. Barker (mile), A. Betts (2 mile), and M. Perriello (400 meters) each won an event to help the Wildcats improve to 3-0. 

 The boys cruised to a 112-24 victory led by T. Mulcahy and K. Bailey-Smith. Both teams will host Norwood on Wednesday.

 

The Lady Wildcats improved to 2 and 0 on the season, showing amazing resiliency through two comebacks, to earn a victory in extra innings.  Sophomore A. Argiro pitched a great game for Weymouth while M. Cronin provided the walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth to drive in the winning runs for Weymouth.  The team will travel to Dedham on Wednesday.

 

Congratulations to Coach Kingman on registering his 400th career victory in the win over Framingham.  An amazing accomplishment and a testament to his dedication and commitment to the game.

The boys knocked off previously undefeated Natick 6-5 at home to earn their third win of the season.  Junior K. Cunningham played extremely well in goal for Weymouth while junior M. Vitello scored four more goals to lead the offense.  The team will travel to Framingham on Wednesday.

The ladies improved to 2 and 1 with a victory at home over Norwood.  The team will travel to Natick on Wednesday.

The boys improved to 3 and 0 with their third perfect match of the season.  The team will host Natick on Wednesday.

The boys improved to 2 and 1 with an overtime victory over BSC rival Braintree, at home under the lights.  Junior M. Vitello scored the sudden victory goal to earn the win for Weymouth. Senior B. Casey had the assist along with the goal to tie the game with under a minute to play in regulation. The team will host Natick on Monday.

The Lady Wildcats earned an impressive victory in the season opener at Natick.  The team will host Framingham on Monday.

The baseball team opened the 2012 season with a shutout victory over Natick at Player Field.  Senior S. McKay went 7 scoreless innings striking out 14 for the win. Fellow Senior S. Hall got the final 6 outs for the save. McKay also hit a 2 run HR, as did Junior O. Colarusso. Senior C.McLevedge had 3 hits.

 

The team will travel to Framingham on Monday.

 

The boys earned their first win of the year, improving to 1 and 1, with an exciting home victory over Arlington Catholic.  The team will now prepare for a night game on the turf this Thursday at 6 PM (JV at 4) against BSC rival Braintree.

The Weymouth Track teams remained undefeated with victories over Framingham.  The boys won 78-60 while the girls cruised to a 108-28 victory.  Leadingg the way for the ladies were: J. Kimball winning four events (high jump, 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles, and javelin), M. Darling winning three (long jump, 100, and 400) and freshman H. Campbell winning the 2 mile. M. Fitzgibbon won the 800, M. Perriello won the 200, J. Tevenan won the mile, N. Amazan won the shot put, K. Bell won the triple jump.

The Lady Wildcats swept Quincy to start the Spring season. The team was led by seniors R. Smith and K. Steele, who posted singles victories for the Wildcats. The doubles tandem of A. Hutchinson and J. Rieman dominated their match 6-1, 6-1, while the duo of seniors L. Anderson and N. Hebert posted a straight sets victory as well. Junior S. Hadar rounded out the sweep for Weymouth, which travels to Braintree on Monday.
