Permanent linkAfter defeating Norwood 114-21 the Lady Wildcats eqarned their fifth win of the season 90-46 over Brookline. N. Amazan broke a 20 year old school record to become the state's best thrower in the shot put, going 37'10". M. Darling won the long jump, triple jump, and 100 hurdles, and J. Kimball won the 100, 400, and placed 2nd in the triple jump and high jump. Other winners were captains B. Bechtold in the 400 hurdles, B. Jaklitsch in the mile, J. Tevenan in the 2 mile, as well as M. Fitzgibbon in the 800, and the 4x400 relay of E. Stevens, K. Kelly, Bechtold and Tevenan.
The team will compete in the Division One Relays on Saturday before traveling to Needham on Tuesday.

Darling who won 3 events (long jump, 200, 100 hurdles). B. Becthold (400 hurdles), N. Amazan (shot put), M. Barker (mile), A. Betts (2 mile), and M. Perriello (400 meters) each won an event to help the Wildcats improve to 3-0.
The boys cruised to a 112-24 victory led by T. Mulcahy and K. Bailey-Smith. Both teams will host Norwood on Wednesday.

Hall got the final 6 outs for the save. McKay also hit a 2 run HR, as did Junior O. Colarusso. Senior C.McLevedge had 3 hits.

Kimball winning four events (high jump, 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles, and javelin), M. Darling winning three (long jump, 100, and 400) and freshman H. Campbell winning the 2 mile. M. Fitzgibbon won the 800, M. Perriello won the 200, J. Tevenan won the mile, N. Amazan won the shot put, K. Bell won the triple jump.

Hutchinson and J. Rieman dominated their match 6-1, 6-1, while the duo of seniors L. Anderson and N. Hebert posted a straight sets victory as well. Junior S. Hadar rounded out the sweep for Weymouth, which travels to Braintree on Monday.

Darling, who won the 100 hurdles (16.4) and long jump (17'3), and took 2nd in the 200 (26.9), and junior J. Kimball who won the triple jump (34'8") and took 2nd in the 100 (13.4), javelin (85'7"), and 400 (60.7).
