Girl's Tennis defeats Quincy in Home Opener

The Lady Wildcats swept Quincy to start the Spring season. The team was led by seniors R. Smith and K. Steele, who posted singles victories for the Wildcats. The doubles tandem of A. Hutchinson and J. Rieman dominated their match 6-1, 6-1, while the duo of seniors L. Anderson and N. Hebert posted a straight sets victory as well. Junior S. Hadar rounded out the sweep for Weymouth, which travels to Braintree on Monday.

Boy's Tennis Sweeps Quincy 5-0

The boys traveled to Quincy and earned an impressive victory in the season opener. The team will host Braintree on Monday.

Boy's Track defeats Walpole

The boys defeated Walpole 84-52 to start the Spring season. The team had an impressive day overall, including State qualifying marks by four athletes and a relayteam. The qualifyers were:

One Mile- N. Parsley (4:37.1)

400H- T. Mulcahy (56.3)

400H- T. Tuplin (60.9)

4x100- (45.2) R. Homere, D. Fong, D. Fernandez, K. Bailey-Smith

HJ- K. Bailey-Smith (6'6)

LJ- K. Bailey-Smith (20'8.5)

TJ- T. Mulcahy (43'1.5)

The team will travel to Framingham on Tuesday.

Girl's Track defeats Walpole in the Season Opener

The Lady Wildcats began the Spring with a 92-44 victory on the road over Walpole. Leading the way for Weymouth were senior M. Darling, who won the 100 hurdles (16.4) and long jump (17'3), and took 2nd in the 200 (26.9), and junior J. Kimball who won the triple jump (34'8") and took 2nd in the 100 (13.4), javelin (85'7"), and 400 (60.7).

The team will travel to Framingham on Tuesday.
