Weymouth High Strength and Conditioning Registration

On Wednesday June 23rd at 3:00 PM the Summer Strength and Conditioning will be open for registration.  The program is open to all Weymouth HS student-athletes.  Each student must have a permission slip (available on this site) along with the summer registration fee of $25.

 

The program will run from 3-9:00 PM every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through the summer and has been a secret to the success of many Weymouth teams and individual athletes.  The Fall seasons are approaching...

Freshmen Athletic Orientation set for June 9th

Any potential student-athletes in the class of 2014 are invited to attend our Athletic Department Orientation night on Wednesday June 9th at 6:30.  This event will be held in the high school gymnasium and it is an opportunity to meet with all of our Fall coaches, sign-up for all of our Fall teams, and receive helpful information related to participation in high school athletics.

Ivil and Corcoran are the Division State Champions

The girls track team took a 5th place finish at the Division I state championship meet on Friday. Junior J. Corcoran won the state title in the 2 mile while senior K. Ivil took the State title in the discus. They will be joined at this weekend's All State meet by M. Darling (4th) in the long jump, E. Clark (3rd) in the 100 hurdles, and the 4x800 team of Corcoran, J. Tevenan, M. Barker, M. Fitzgibbon, and B. Jaklitsch. 

Boys' Lacrosse opens tournament at Chelmsford Tuesday

The boys will travel to Chelmsford on Tuesday for a 5:00 PM first round Division One State Tournament game.  Go Weymouth!

The boys tennis team defeats Braintree

The boys swept the season finale 5-0 over the visiting Wamps.  With plenty of young talent and energy returning next year Coach MacDonald looks forward to building on this season three victories.

Baseball team knocks off Needham

Sophomore P. Murray drove in junior captain D. Colarusso in the bottom of the tenth to earn a big 8-7 win over the tournament bound Needham Rockets.  The boys will head over to Braintree on Wednesday for the final game of the season.

The lady wildcats were victorious on the road at Neeedham in a 5-4 extra-inning thriller.  The team will look for win number seven when the travel to Braintree on Friday for a 7:00 PM season finale.

The boys lacrosse team qualifies for the State Tournament!

With an impressive 15-2 victory over Milton the boys earned their way into the State tourney.  The team has three games left to sharpen up for the postseason.

Undefeated BSC Champions!

Both track teams defeated the visiting Wamps of Braintree on Thursday.  The victory capped an undefeated season for the boys, while the girls finished with an outstanding record of 6-1.  Both teams will host the BSC all-star track meet next Wednesday at 4:00.  The best of the best from all 24 BSC schools will be competing for all-star status so come on by for a great show.
